Workshop on Uranium exploration strategy, resource assessment and feasibility studies

  • Uranium production cycle and the SDGs
  • Deployment of innovative uranium extraction techniques, with application of global good practice, but configured for specific local requirements, including industry partners
  • Development of a conducive, socially accepted policy and regulatory framework for uranium mining
  • Maximum utilization of value-addition opportunities in NORM resource development, including technology, knowledge and expertise transfer into other domains in both mining and processing and energy sectors
  • Partnership and communication among a wide cross-section of stakeholders – governmental, companies and civil society
  • Enhanced prospects of success for the commercialisation of new mining projects. Comprehensive extraction of radioactive and other valuable materials:
